1. Introduction

Brainful Games (“Brainful Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and publishes mobile games. This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile applications, games, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using our Services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.

2. Information We Collect

Device, app, and technical information

We and our service providers may collect technical information needed to operate, secure, monetize, and improve the Services. This may include device model, operating system version, app version, language, country or region, IP address, network connection information, crash data, diagnostics, gameplay events, session information, and similar technical data.

Analytics information

We use Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the Services and to improve gameplay, usability, performance, and stability. Analytics information may include app opens, sessions, screen views, level progress, feature usage, in-app events, approximate location inferred from IP address, device and app information, diagnostics, and an app-instance identifier generated for the app installation. We may log gameplay and app events such as level starts, level completions, tutorial progress, hint usage, purchase-related events, and similar events that help us understand and improve the Services.

Advertising identifiers

Our Services may use the Android Advertising ID and similar identifiers for advertising, ad measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and analytics related to advertising performance.

Information related to ads

When ads are shown in our Services, advertising partners may collect or receive information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, device information, app activity, ad views, ad interactions, diagnostics, and performance data.

Information related to purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing or the applicable app store platform. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive purchase-related information such as product ID, purchase status, transaction identifiers, receipts, and entitlement information so we can provide purchased items or features.

Information you contact us with

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and the content of your message so we can respond to your request.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • To display ads and measure advertising performance;
  • To analyze app usage, gameplay progress, feature usage, retention, diagnostics, and performance through Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase;
  • To process and verify in-app purchases and provide purchased content or features;
  • To troubleshoot bugs, crashes, and technical issues;
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, unauthorized transactions, and security incidents;
  • To comply with legal obligations and platform requirements;

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and partners that help us operate, analyze, improve, and monetize the Services, including analytics providers, advertising providers, app store/payment processors, hosting providers, technical service providers, fraud prevention providers, and legal or compliance advisors.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, users, safety, or the integrity of the Services.

5. Advertising

Our Services use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob and its partners may collect and use information from your device to provide, personalize, limit, and measure ads, detect fraud and abuse, and improve advertising services.

Depending on your location and device settings, you may be able to limit personalized ads, reset your advertising ID, or manage consent choices through your device settings or consent prompts shown in the app.

Consent: Where required by applicable law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will request consent before using personal data for personalized advertising or similar purposes.

6. Analytics

Our Services use Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand how the app is used, how levels and features perform, and where technical or gameplay improvements may be needed. Firebase Analytics may collect app activity, app interactions, session information, device and app information, approximate location inferred from IP address, diagnostics, and identifiers such as an app-instance identifier. Firebase Analytics may also use device identifiers where available and permitted by your settings and applicable law.

We use analytics information in aggregated and internal reporting to understand app performance, improve level design, troubleshoot issues, measure engagement, and make product decisions. We do not use Firebase Analytics to collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment card details.

Where required by applicable law, we will request consent or provide controls before using analytics or related identifiers for purposes that require consent. You may also be able to limit certain identifier-based processing through your device settings.

7. In-App Purchases

Our Services may offer in-app purchases, such as virtual items, virtual currency, hints, ad-removal options, subscriptions, or other paid digital content. Purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play’s payment and refund policies.

We may use purchase information to verify payments, deliver purchased content, restore purchases, prevent fraud, provide support, and comply with legal or accounting requirements.

8. Android Permissions

Our Services may request or rely on the following Android permissions or identifiers:

  • INTERNET: allows the app to connect to the internet for ads, purchases, and online services.
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: allows the app to check network connectivity.
  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: allows access to the Android Advertising ID for advertising and measurement, where available and permitted by user settings.

We do not request notification permission, camera permission, microphone permission, contacts permission, or precise location permission unless a future version of the Services adds features that require them. If that happens, this Privacy Policy will be updated as needed.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, request data portability, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where applicable law requires a higher age threshold, we will comply with that requirement.
